About

My Journey

My interest in software engineering was first started while observing a software team during a general engineering internship at Accurate Controls. I was drawn to their ability to build solutions from the ground up, and my own journey began there. I quickly learned that challenges are an inherent part of the engineering process. Whether working with a scrum team to reverse engineer an overcomplicated app or building a crucial internal tool for a company. A project from ALS, which required me to learn C# and .NET from scratch, taught me that persistence and an open mind are just as important as the code itself. I’m driven to apply this passion for problem-solving to help streamline workflows and improve daily operations, proving that the right software can make a significant difference.
My interest in cybersecurity first sparked when I decided that I no longer wanted other companies to have access to my personal data. I began exploring ways to secure my own digital footprint, which led me to set up a home lab and learn about network security, certificates, and privacy-focused tools. This journey has not only enhanced my technical skills but also reinforced the importance of protecting sensitive information in an increasingly connected world.

Education

I am attending Milwaukee School of Engineering, getting a Bachelors of Science degree in Software Engineering and minoring in cybersecurity. While also devoting time every week to clubs such as InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
